The continuing expansion of Monge in the domestic Italian market goes hand in hand with the company’s presence abroad. Following its commercial policy, this year Monge attended the 10th edition of Pet South America in Sao Paulo from 18 to 20 October 2011.
A significant event because the fair of Sao Paulo is the most important event in the pet industry in Latin America and the 5th in importance worldwide.
The projects of growth of the Cuneo company are in line with the opening of new markets. In particular, Brazil is now one of the emerging economies, the leader of the so-called BRIC together with Russia, India and China. A country that in recent years has been able to relaunch its international role with policies of enhancement of the immense wealth of natural resources. Brazil accounts for 6% of the global pet industry and, with a population of 84 million pets, it is by far the second largest market with great growth potential.
Monge was present along with the top 200 global manufacturing and industrial realities in order to meet buyers and large industry players. The fair was also an opportunity to confront with the most innovative aspects of the pet world, offering visitors the flagship brands of the Piedmont company and the most recent projects for large retailers and specialty shops.
