The Pet Therapy, nota anche con l'acronimo IAA (“Interventi Assistiti con gli Animali”") is a therapeutic and rehabilitation intervention that provides for the use of animals in the company all'interno dei percorsi di cura. Its goal is to support the physical, emotional, cognitive and social health of people affiliated with conventional medical protocols.

How it works and what are the benefits of Pet Therapy
Una session type di Pet Therapy requires a perfect synergy between diverse professional figures:
- Un professional della salute the qualified therapist;

- The same animal, selected per la sua indole e rigorousosamente addestrato.
Although Pet Therapy involves diverse species, dogs remain protagonists indiscussed by their empathy and predisposition to human contact. - Ospedale Pediatrico Meyer di Firenze: cani e gatti affiancano i piccoli pazienti, aiutandoli ad afcarre con maggiore serenità visite delicate e percorsi di terapia.
- Milan Polyclinic: un progetto che prevedi la realization di un'area verde dedicated all'interno del perimetro ospedaliero. In this special space, recovered patients will have the opportunity to meet and receive a visit from their domestic animals.
- Ospedale Santa Croce di Cuneo: Through the collaboration with a specialized association, Pet Therapy enters various departments, including neurology, infant neurology, psychiatry, pediatrics and geriatrics to offer relief to patients during the period of hospitalization.
